Road Closures and Meter Bagging

24RD ANNUAL BICYCLE RACE

Race starting times from 8 AM to 5:00 PM
Please be alerted to the following road closures associated with the upcoming bicycle race in the Golden Triangle community. The closures will also affect traffic patterns within the race course. We appreciate your help in spreading the word to your neighbours and business associates. We hope you’ll come out & cheer the cyclists.
Full Road Closure will take place on Sunday 6 August 2017 from 4am to 7pm. This is to insure the safety of racers, spectators and volunteers. See map below for streets affected.
Parking Meters will be (red) bagged on Saturday 5 August and ALL PARKING along the race course will be PROHIBITED effective 2pm Saturday 5 August 2017. Any vehicles left on the course will be towed by Denver Police. Please plan accordingly. Thank you for your support and patience during this inconvenience.
Controlled Access to residences and business inside the course will be managed by course marshals and Denver Police. They will assist you getting by the closures as the racers on the course have passed, when it’s safe. Please allow an extra few minutes in your schedule to accommodate the possible delay.
Course Description: Approximately a 1-mile figure 8 course, bordered by 9th and 12th Avenues, Acoma and Delaware Streets.
